We’ve been serving survivors of brain injury and stroke in our community for years. Our organization has grown significantly. Our staff is small, and we have numerous opportunities for volunteer participation.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. Our volunteers make a significant difference in the lives of each Clubhouse Member and are instrumental in helping our organization fulfill its mission to Engage, Empower and Employ people affected by traumatic brain injury and stroke.
To volunteer at our Clubhouse Program email erika@synapsehouse.org
To volunteer with our special events OR serve on the Board of Directors, email janet@synapsehouse.org
Accompany our member group on an outing and provide social interaction and support as members experience the benefits of a lunch out, bowling, golfing and more.
Please view our calendar for upcoming outings.
Join our Board of Directors to assist the organization in long term strategy, community friend building and raising critical funds through events and networking. We are excited by new opportunities to provide virtual services and welcome your expertise and creativity.
Synapse House hosts an annual Gala and Golf Outing Fundraiser. We'd love to create and hold new, fun and exciting events and welcome your creative ideas. Supply drives are also a great way for volunteers to help out at their place of work or through clubs.
When you volunteer with us you’ll work side by side with Clubhouse Members and staff accomplishing rehabilitative goals that make a significant difference in Member lives and our non-profit organization.
There are numerous ways to get involved, and several facets of our organization could benefit from your gift of time and talent. Short and long-term volunteer opportunities are available to help with daily programming in our Clubhouse.
Volunteers help is critical to our success in serving those with brain injury and stroke.
We navigated through the pandemic by expanding program and service offerings to include both in-person and remote opportunities.
Now, our sights are set on the future with plans to move our Clubhouse location and expand our programming.
Individuals with the skills and interest in helping us work through this transition are encouraged to apply for a two-year renewable term on our Board of Directors.
Members of our Board work with Executive and Development Directors and staff to accomplish annual strategic plan objectives:
Board members are involved in program, marketing, and policy oversight. Fundraising and financial management are important responsibilities.
