DHS's Division of Rehabilitation Services is the state's lead agency serving individuals with disabilities. DRS works in partnership with people with disabilities and their families to assist them in making informed choices to achieve full community participation through employment, education, and independent living opportunities.
Synapse House Benefits Education & Consultation Services
Synapse House staff happily work with members and their families to help them make the most of social services available in their area. Benefits Education & Consultation is available for a separate fee and reduced rate for Clubhouse Members.
The Brain Injury Association of Illinois (BIA of IL) is a not-for-profit, statewide membership organization comprised of people with brain injuries, family members, friends and professionals.
The Clubhouse day is structured around meaningful work in a work unit. Members choose to complete tasks that directly support the operations of the Clubhouse- from hiring staff, to advocating for brain injury services, to writing a newsletter article or preparing lunch.
Advances awareness, research, treatment, and education and to improve the quality of life for all people affected by brain injury.
