To participate in the services at Synapse House, one must have an acquired brain injury. This includes but is not limited to traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, multiple concussions, brain tumors, aneurysm, anoxic / hypoxic accidents, encephalopathy or cognitive deficits due to progressive diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis.
Individuals or families interested in learning about becoming a Member should contact the Admission Director at Synapse House to schedule a meeting and tour of our Clubhouse.
Are you a rehabilitation professional that has patients completing their hospital based therapies? We welcome your patient referrals. Before a new Member may start services at Synapse House, all admission forms must be completed and returned. A follow-up meeting may be requested to review forms together and discuss Member and family goals.
